Fort Rock Family Camp 2012

Wow have we had a fun past few days!! We went to a Raising Entrepreneurs camp at Fort Rock Family Camp in Combs, Arkansas. It was a blast. The camp lasted 3 nights and 4 days. While we were there, I turned 21-what a way to spend a birthday! We spent our time zip lining on the longest zip line in Arkansas, trail riding on horseback through the Ozarks, shooting bow and arrows, and shooting at the rifle range. I can't imagine a better way to have spent that special day. It was out in the mountains, so we had no phone service, which made it easy to just sit back and relax and smell the fresh mountain air. Here are a few pictures. I couldn't post them all, or it would take forever, but here are just a few highlights of our trip.

Most of the time, I was turned around backwards while riding, trying to get a pic of us riding. I couldn't really get a picture of myself, so this is the closest I got haha

This a photo of all of the families that attended

Easter 2012

Happy Easter everyone. Sorry I haven't posted in a little while. Things seem to be crazy around here with all of our extracurricular activities. :D  I hope everyone had a wonderful day celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ with their family. Today was such a beautiful day to sit outside.

I thought I'd post some pics from our garden that I took a couple of days ago. Not everything is up yet, but I have a feelling they'll be peeking out of the dirt in just a few days.  : D

Fashion Week

Hey. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Modest March Fashion Week. It was great to see everyone's modest outfits. I think it's so important to make sure we, as Christian you ladies/women, should make sure we are doing everything we possibly can to encourage other young ladies. We are living in a world that does everything it can to make sure we are turning away from God's Word and Truth. Personally, my thought is that people who may not have been raised to dress appropriately think that modesty means wearing turtleneck shirts and only floor length skirts, covering up every inch of our body. We should try and show others that you can still be fashionable and dress modestly (AND it doesn't cost a fortune). It's also important that we tell why we dress the way we do, because we feel that God's Word leads us to do so.

I would love to continue seeing other modest outfits. Maybe we could post an outfit once a week or something. I don't know, just a thought.

Have a blessed week
